Typecast: Three wishes

I'd probably wish for knowledge. Perhaps somehow a way to absorb all the knowledge in the world somehow. Maybe a way to travel in time to see awesome events in history. Or perhaps an advance copy of Sid Meier's Civilization 5, with a computer that could run it.

I was actually talking to my wife about this over the weekend. I had mentioned that if I had a wish, I might forgo any type of large amount of money and just wish that I didn't have any stray body hairs, like in my nose, on my shoulders and back...

Its not a large amount of hair but it is annoying and I see more sprouting up as I get older.

If I can be excused from grand world-peace type wishes, or the ability to fly or magic healing abilities, that kind of thing, I might just wish to be a very lucky sort of person who wins lotteries and finds amazing things on the sidewalk. Or perhaps I would wish for more guts. Or my current income, but no need to go to work. Yeah, that last one would be great.

You have some good ideas. I think I might get carried away and end up with three hurdy gurdies.

BTW, this is a great blog. The handwritten and typed posts - awesome style!

Leaving aside the sort of wishes Strikethru mentions, I think I'd wish I could somehow take any class I wanted from any instructor anywhere in the world, for free and without it taking any time out of my days. How many wishes is that?

It'd also be nice to be able to instantly visit--in person--any of my family and friends whenever I wanted. Especially today, when I have a new nephew who's clear back in New Hampshire. Rats.

REDO:

1: Being the most famous author ever.
2: Liking ALL foods.
3: Having either photographic reflexes or intangibility at will. I can't decide.
