I'm not much for predestination either, but experiences the last few years have taught me that worrying is pretty much useless. No matter how bleak things look (and they've been pretty bleak), things will always work out.
The things that befall are never as bad as they seem, money always comes when it's needed, and worry never changes anything. (:
