(I took the header picture of a Common Loon resting on a pond in Utah on its way north in June of 2015. It was in transition from winter to summer plumage.)

Welcome to Mesa - did you get to visit Bill down at Mesa Typewriter Exchange? If you do, tell him Ted said "Howdy". It'll blow his mind. :D

Glad you like the Phoenix/Tempe/Mesa/Scottsdale area.

You cannot find a nicer place in the world for the fall, winter, and spring. Summer is to us what winter is to a Minnesotan. We're stuck inside. Heat is easier to deal with than cold. When it's cold I'm miserable.

I love temple architecture (even though I am not a Mormom) and haven't had chance to see the temple in Mesa with it's Egyptian style. Years ago the Snowflake temple was open for tours before it was consecrated and I missed it. With any luck the north Phoenix temple will be built.
