(I took the header picture of a Common Loon resting on a pond in Utah on its way north in June of 2015. It was in transition from winter to summer plumage.)

Hey, congrats! For me, the enormity of it didn't really hit until I saw our little guy make his debut.
There have been a few stressful times since, and the idea of ever having a life of my own again seems a distant fantasy at times, but I've never regretted it for a moment. Eventually, you (and your little one) will settle into a routine of sorts that will help a lot.
Buy twice as many bottles and pacifiers as you think you'll need. In fact, you might want to start buying your baby stuff now. We bought everything a little at a time over the course of her pregnancy so we didn't have to have one huge spending spree toward the end.

Wow! That is truly exciting. I can recall bringing those ultrasound shots home when Mrs. Moon was pregnant with our daughter.
Congratulations to you, and (I'm sure everyone and their cousin is telling you this) you cannot begin to imagine how your life is about to change.
Have a great trip!

Oh, and have a great trip!
Many congratulations!
We'll miss you on Mindspill, but I can certainly understand the need to bow out. Good luck, hope we'll see you again sometime.
Nicely scanned typecast, by the way.
Lovely ultrasound. Already looks like a cute kid! (I was sure I could clearly see my daughter on her blurry ultrasound, as I recall).
